Wes Kroninger is well known for his creative imagery—cleanly lit images with a vitality and vibrancy that impact viewers immediately. The fresh outlook Wes brings to every project has resulted in numerous awards for himself and his clients.
Wes has been a full-time photographer since 2003, gaining national exposure in Rolling Stone, Modern Salon, American Salon, Rangefinder, Studio Photography, Long Beach Magazine, After Capture, American Whiskey Magazine, and a wide range of trade publications. He has worked with a broad range of commercial clients like Home Depot, Fruit of the Loom, Russell Athletics, Vanity Fair, and AVEDA, as well as numerous small business and beauty industry clients across the country. He also received an honorable mention in the prestigious Lucie Awards and has taken home gold ADDY awards in New Orleans, Louisiana and a silver ADDY in Panama City, Florida.
In the photography industry, Wes has also been recognized for his work as an instructor, leading an extremely successful platform class at the WPPI convention for five years. He has been an educational speaker at Imaging USA, SPAC, SPI, SYNC, and SYNC Sports, and teaches a class on advertising photography at The Rocky Mountain School of Photography each year in Missoula, Montana. He also has been a guest speaker at numerous local photo chapters around the country.
Wes’s first book, Lighting: Design Techniques for Digital Photographers, explores the creative and technical aspects of photographic lighting and is now on store shelves.
